This is not just about MY ministry, it’s about OUR ministry! (It’s YOURS too!)
Mission to the World, the mission-sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America, began working in Ukraine in 1993. In 2007, a new church-planting work began in the western city of L’viv. The team is young, but the vision is big: to plant a Ukrainian-speaking Church-planting Church, one that will be the anchor church in western Ukraine, planting several “daughter” churches throughout the western regions of Ukraine (which borders Poland).
In 2008, I joined the team in L’viv for a little more than two months, doing an internship with MTW. After returning home to Colorado, I felt the Lord call me back to the team and the work in western Ukraine. InMarch, 2009, I was approved by Mission to the World to return to L’viv for three years as a Short-term missionary! I am very excited about this new phase and calling, and pray that God will use me greatly as an effective instrument in the lives of Ukrainians, as a deepen previous relationships and develop new ones.
My role on the team will include several different “jobs”, but in all, the primary focus is University Ministry and Evangelism. The team needs me, as a single, mid-20’s man, to come alongside university men in the city and disciple them. I will do this with:
I am young, willing and available to go. Here I am. Send me.
Please pray for me, the team, and the people we work with. Pray that God will continue to be pleased to work through all of us on the team, and that He will continue to soften hearts and change lives with the hope and love that is found only in Him.
